Septa: Quick irregular Sudoku

An interesting puzzle from FractalJim. I found the break-in very easy and it was all coming along smoothly until the mid-game! Any chance you can find a simpler solution path?

Rules:

Normal 7x7 Sudoku rules: Enter the numbers one to seven once each in to each row column and region.

Region Sum lines: Region borders divide the region sum line into sections that sum to the same value. For clarity, when a diagonal section of the line touches the corner of a region, the corner does not split the line.
