Despite the name implying otherwise, this is indeed a variant Sudoku puzzle. It requires a few logical steps to make real progress that are quite unique from the puzzles featured to date!

Rules:

Standard Sudoku rules apply. Each row, column, and region indicated by thick borders in the grid must contain the digits 1 to 9 once each.

XV rules apply. Digits joined by a V sum to 5. Digits joined by a X sum to 10. Not all Xs or Vs are given.

Kropki pairs rules apply. Cells separated by a white dot are consecutive. Cells separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio. Not all dots are given.
